The well-known, Dr. Simeons HCG Diet protocol has helped countless people lose weight for well over 60 years! Developed back in the 1950s, Dr. Simeons original HCG Diet protocol combined the use of HCG injections with a very low-calorie diet.

On Dr. Simeons plan, HCG injections are a critical part of the weight loss success. HCG Diet drops are not the same thing as HCG injections. Do not expect to get the same results with HCG diet drops as you will with HCG injections.

The HCG Diet consists of three unique phases. Many times, you will see a fourth phase mentioned. Consider that the maintenance phase that you will remain in for the rest of your life. At that time, you will get to take all the tricks you learned for cooking healthy food and use them every day of your life. You will be able to maintain the weight that you lost on your diet.

Take it one day at a time, following the diet plan as directed and the pounds will seemingly melt away before your eyes.

By using HCG injections and not HCG Diet drops, and sticking to the diet plan as instructed, you can shed those unwanted pounds and keep them off.

Phase 1 of the HCG Diet Protocol

Dr. Simeons HCG Diet phase one plan consists of two days of priming the body with fat. On day one of your shots, you will consume a minimum of 2,000 calories of food with high-fat content. It is vital that you do not skip this part of either the 23 or 40-day plan as it will reduce your weight loss and might cause you to experience fatigue and headaches in the beginning. Your body will need to consume that many calories of high-fat foods for two days.

The Dr. Simeons phase one plan does not make use of drops, only daily HCG, and vitamin B12 shots. Here at RXHormone clinic, we also include our proprietary MIC/LIPO injections for increased weight loss results.

During these two days of the HCG Diet protocol phase one, you want to eat all the foods you think you will miss the most over the next few weeks. That means you can spend one day eating things like pasta, pizza, and potatoes, and another day eating fried chicken, bacon cheeseburgers, and even full-fat ice cream. The only thing you do not want to do during these two days is to consume empty sugar calories – such as with candy bars. Remember, on day one and two of your shots you want to focus on getting your fill of high-fat foods that you enjoy.

Phase one consists of daily shots, but you need to prime your body for weight loss by consuming at least 2,000 calories a day of high-fat foods.

Phase 2 of the HCG Diet Protocol

During Dr. Simeons HCG Diet, you will lose weight at a rapid pace due to the extreme reduction in caloric intake. At this time, you will consume no more than 500 to 700 calories each day. The reason we do not recommend using HCG diet drops is that they do not provide the same signals to the brain to help you release stored fat. You will only experience the full and powerful effects of HCG weight loss with the daily shots.

Instead of consuming high-fat foods as you did during Dr. Simeons phase one protocol, you will now remove all fat, sugar, dairy, and carbohydrates from your diet. We will provide you with a list of the foods you can eat at each meal. Only the foods listed are allowed.

The HCG phase two diet day plan will last for the length of time prescribed dependent on how much weight you have to lose, as follows:

  • For people with less than 15 pounds to lose, Phase two of the 26-day plan starts on the third day of injections and continues until you reach day 26. Please know that days 24, 25, and 26 are without the shots, although you will still consume only 500 to 700 calories daily.
  • If you have more than 15 pounds to lose, you will follow the 43-day plan. The start time is the same, but the shots discontinue on days 41, 42, and 43. You must stick with your very low-calorie diet during this time.

The foods allowed each day on the HCG diet include options such as:

  • Protein choices such as chicken breast, lobster, veal, crab, shrimp, white fish, and lean beef
  • Vegetables may include asparagus, salad greens, spinach, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, cabbage, and celery
  • Fruit choices include a handful of berries, one apple, one orange, half a grapefruit, juice of one lemon for seasoning food

These are not complete food lists; you will receive that in your weight loss kit. You may also have one piece of Melba toast or Grissini breadstick each day. Coffee, with one tablespoon daily of skim milk, is allowed.

You will be able to lose weight quickly while eating delicious meals with the recipes we provide.

Phase 3 of the HCG Diet Protocol

When you reach Dr. Simeons phase three, on either the 26 or 43-day plan, you will slowly increase your caloric intake – first to 1,000 and then to 1,200. You will also be able to add other foods back into your daily meal plan. At this time, you will still avoid sugar and carbohydrates, but dairy, healthy fats, and many other types of protein, fruits, and vegetables are now allowed.

You will continue with this part of the Dr. Simeons HCG Diet for a few weeks, allowing your body to stabilize at the new, lower weight. If you still have more pounds to lose, you will then repeat the previous diet protocol. You can repeat this cycle with shots and not drops as many times as it takes to accomplish your weight loss goal.

However, if you have reached your desired weight, upon completion of the HCG phase three diet protocol, you will then enter the maintenance portion of the program. At that time, you are free to eat whatever you want. Of course, we want to give you a word of warning – remember where you started. You do not want to gain back that lost weight. If you go back to your old eating habits, that is exactly what will happen. Continue to make healthy choices, and you will enjoy your trimmer body for years to come.
